Transcript of new material which appears only on the ‘Sherlock Uncovered’ Special Feature of the Season 2 DVD:
This interview is actually quite amazing. Wow.
video uploaded to dailymotion for non-US fans. (previous MTV interviews can be found on my dailymotion account here.)
So Cumberbatchweb has teamed up with lots of wonderful people to promote the campaign to #voteSherlock4Bafta.
Take a pic of yourself holding a banner (or do a simple sign without you in it if you’re shy or not keen on havig your piccie taken - frankly at 2:00 a.m. last night after getting rained on I figured you’d rather look at Benedict & Martin!) with the legend #voteSherlock4Bafta and post it on twitter, tumblr, pininterest anywhere you can with the hashtag.
Let’s make a real stir and show all the absolutely amazing cast and creative team of Sherlock just how very much we appreciate their efforts and how much worldwide support they have.
Please, please vote!!!
Sherlock is up for the BAFTA YouTube Audience Award, which you can vote for [HERE].
Last year it was robbed and this year, especially since the show was shockingly left out of Best Mini-Series (not Best Drama because it was ineligible in that category now due to rule changes), we MUST win. The team deserves it so much. So very much. They need our support.
So we’re joining together: The Baker Street Babes, wearsherlock, Sherlockology, Cumberbatchweb/Freemanweb, GravesDiggers, Andrew Scott Online, Loo Brealey Fans & more. Joining together to make sure Sherlock wins that very well deserved YouTube Audience Award at the TV BAFTAs.
But we need your help! Take a picture of yourself, make a sign, make a graphic, DO SOMETHING that has the words #VoteSherlock4BAFTA and post it online. Tumblr, twitter, facebook, Pinterest, anywhere! We’ll all be reblogging and retweeting them, spreading the word.
Use the hashtag #VoteSherlock4BAFTA on twitter.
This is also a call to our fandom friends on tumblr: Doctor Who (we share so much!), Supernatural, Lord of the Rings (Martin & Benedict will be among you all soon!), Harry Potter, EVERYONE! Please help us out.
Most importantly though are the votes. Not in the UK? Get creative. Make signs, spread the word. Show veyrone there’s such international support for Sherlock! The more people know, the more people who will vote (hopefully in our favour!)
Here are a couple more pictures from our #VoteSherlock4BAFTA team!
Look… it’s an adorable cat! IT’S A CAT! EVERYONE NEED TO LISTEN TO THE CAT! Seriously this is a pretty cat…
And look at this poor… poor man! He’s good at football and has five children but none of that matters if Sherlock doesn’t win! Do it for the kids man.
PBS will be livestreaming the Q&A with Benedict Cumberbatch May 2 at 8:15EST.
Click the link below and bookmark it for later!
Well there you go!
The Oliviers have just announced on twitter that the ceremony will be streamed on-line for everyone to watch.

My third and final hand written thing from the Batch today! (IDK what was going on with his signature haha)
Sorry for hyping it up so much by making you all wait to see it, but i did think it was rather witty of him!
I personally think Benedict is insinuating that the Queen is on her knees…
Come on, he so is! ;)
Episode 20: Joe Lidster & Blogging Sherlock
Joe Lidster is the talent behind BBC Sherlock’s blogs (John Watson’s Blog, The Science of Deduction, Molly Hooper’s Blog, & The Connie Prince website). With a fabulous writing repertoire including Doctor Who & Torchwood, it’s no wonder he is a BBC fav. Babes Curly & Marie (plus Curly’s snarky flatmate/BSB Science guru Stephen) got to sit down with Joe after hearing his great talk at BAFTAGames’ Transmedia Meetup.
It’s a brilliant episode and loads of fun. We chat with him about our love for Molly Hooper, how he got into Sherlock Holmes, jellyfish, viagra, getting into character, and generally a lot of gushing about Sherlock. We talk a bit about the #BELIEVEINSHERLOCK campaign as well. Warning, there are spoilers for Sherlock Series 2.
You can follow Joe on twitter at @joelidster , he loves getting new followers haha, though apologizes if he only talks about lunch and going to the pub.
The event was hosted by @BAFTAGames, and the folks there are amazing. Seriously, if you’re in London, you need to follow them on twitter. They have tons of free events and talks.
This is a more delightful podcast! Thanks bakerstreetbabes for the heads up. Joe Lidster is really funny. Do give it a listen.
